The app comes with six different selections to choose from, including playing video games, drawing, flying a Kaslan drone, watching a live video feed from the Buddi's perspective, connecting the doll to other Kaslan devices, and connecting the doll to on-phone Kaslan services. It is remote-controlled through the Buddi app on the user's smart phone. It is able to connect and control all Kaslan products and smart home devices. The Buddi doll uses advanced self-learning technology to constantly find new ways to entertain, and can adapt to the user's daily routine.
